The rarest place on Earth

An Earth-observation console. A scan line sweeps the night side of the planet and ignites a ping for every rare natural coincidence inside its observation window. Open a ping and you get the physics behind it, the conditions that had to line up, and the odds of all of them holding at once — decomposed into their factor priors. The windows are curated scheduling, not observation: nothing here reports what is happening now.

This is a curated catalogue of 75 documented phenomena — aurora driven to mid-latitudes, milky seas, brinicles, penitentes, catatumbo lightning, synchronous fireflies, moonbows, sailing stones — each with its position, observation window, factor decomposition and field notes. It is not a live sensor feed and never claims to be.
